Razumkov thanks Estonian president for position on Ukraine.

Verkhovna Rada Chairman Dmytro Razumkov has thanked Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid for her unwavering position in support of Ukraine's interests in Europe and on Russian aggression.

Razumkov said this at a meeting with Kaljulaid in Kyiv on Thursday, September 12, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"I am very grateful to you for the support you give to our country in so many ways. The Republic of Estonia has supported the protection of Ukraine's territorial integrity for many years. You are also a steady partner in promoting our country's interests in the European Union. Your firm and unwavering support of Ukraine's interests in Europe and on the Russian Federation is inspiring, and we thank you very much for that," he said.

At the same time, Razumkov expressed hope that future relations between Ukraine and Estonia would develop at a "more rapid pace."

"I am very glad that for this cadence of the parliament you are the first president in this hall. I hope that our interstate relations will remain as stable and friendly as has been observed for many years," Razumkov said.
