Enemy launches 34 airstrikes, 57 MLRS attacks over past day.

Russian forces launched 34 airstrikes, in particular, using 11 Shahed-136 UAVs. Ten of these drones were shot down by Ukrainian air defense forces, while one hit an industrial infrastructure object. There were no civilian casualties.

This is said in a morning update published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"The enemy also launched one missile strike and 57 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems. One of them hit the village of Veletenske in Kherson region. Seven private houses and the building of a local kindergarten were damaged by debris. Fortunately, there were no casualties," the military said.

Throughout the day, the Air Force of Ukraine launched six strikes on Russian military personnel concentration areas. Units of the rocket troops and artillery hit two Russian military personnel concentration areas, as well as one position of enemy air defense system.

"The enemy's main goal during the past day, as before, remained attempts to reach the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions," the General Staff said.

For this, the occupiers focused their main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka, and Shakhtarsk directions.

"Due to professional and coordinated actions, our defenders repelled more than 100 enemy attacks in the specified directions," the military said.

The General Staff stressed that the threat of further Russian missile strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine remains high.

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops. Russian forces shelled the areas of 13 settlements along the contact line, in particular, Vesele, Hrianykivka, Vilshana, Krokhmalne, Berestove, Dibrova, and Andriivka of Kharkiv region; Novoyehorivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka, Novoselivka, and Chervonopivka of Luhansk region; Novoselivka of Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy continued the assault on Bakhmut city. However, Ukrainian defenders repelled Russian attacks in the districts of Klishchiivka and Ivanivske. Near the contact line, the enemy shelled the settlements of Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Zaliznianske, Vasiukivka, Donetsk region. Overall, 11 settlements in the Bakhmut direction came under enemy attack.

In the Avdiivka, Marinka, and Shakhtarsk directions, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Kamianka, Nevelske, Avdiivka, Marinka, Severne, and Pervomaiske settlements of Donetsk region. Areas of 21 settlements came under enemy shelling, including Kamianka, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Maksymilianivka, Marinka, Vuhledar, Velyka Novosilka, Zolota Nyva, Paraskoviivka, Tonenke, Severne, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Novoukrainka, Prechystivka, Neskuchne and Shakhtarske of Donetsk region.

In the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia directions, the enemy continued to hold the defense. At the same time, Russian forces carried out intensive shelling of the settlements of Malynivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Biloghirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Mali Shcherbaky, Kamianske, Olhivske, Chervone, Charivne, Orikhiv, Novodanylivka, and Stepove of Zaporizhzhia region; Vremivka and Novopil of Donetsk region; Dobra Nadiya in Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as Dudchany, Kachkarivka, Vesele, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Dniprovske, Berehove, Veletenske, Kizomys, Mykhailivka, Respublikanets, Novoberyslav, Kherson, Novosilka, Shylova Balka, Odradokamianka, Mykolaivka, Tiahynka, Sadove and Rozlyv of Kherson region. In total, almost 40 settlement came under enemy shelling.
