Fans of the hit Netflix show Squid Game started fighting while they queued outside a pop-up restaurant based on the show.
Footage shows several locals locked in a heated fistfight in the middle of 2nd Arrondissement in Paris, France, on Monday. Terrified onlookers moved away before Police eventually arrived at the scene to enforce security.
It is unknown what sparked the scuffle, but fans said they have been waiting for hours in line which may have caused tensions to rise.
The South Korean Netflix drama Squid Game tells the story of hundreds of participants struggling with debt who compete in a series of children’s games to win the final 45.6 billion won (38.7 million USD) prize.
The series was released on September 17 and received an overwhelming response from viewers worldwide but it has also been criticised for showing violence and gore.
