THERE'S no denying that having kids completely changes all aspects of your life - not to mention how it wreaks havoc on your sex life.
However, a sexologist has now claimed that the "golden hour" for sex is immediately after you've put the children to bed for the night... so you can leave the washing up for later.

Writing on her blog, sexologist Dr Nikki Goldstein urged couples to "place your sex life above chores and Netflix" in the evenings.
She wrote: "The beauty of young kids is that they got to bed early. There is the next issue of kids who also wake up during the night and wonder in, but the safest time just might be that time after you put them to bed."
The expert said prioritising sex is a surefire way to restore emotional intimacy when you're exhausted from looking after a little one.
And if you're struggling to get in the mood, Dr Nikki recommended finding small ways to reconnect with your partner first - such as holding hands when you're out or kissing passionately without any pressure.

Although some new parents feel like they don't have enough time for intimacy, the expert acknowledged that "quickies" should be seen as something "very exciting" and time efficient.
What's more, the expert also claims that sharing the household chores and childcare is another way to reignite your sex life.
Describing what's become known online as "choreplay", she wrote: "Acts like these can see a spouse wanting to pleasure you in return and going to bed with love in their eyes instead of frustration that they had to put the dishes away, again."
