OSCE SMM records increase in ceasefire violations in Donetsk region.

On July 13, the SMM recorded more ceasefire violations in Donetsk region and a similar number of ceasefire violations in Luhansk region compared with the previous 24 hours.

“In Donetsk region, the SMM recorded more ceasefire violations, including more explosions (about 125), compared with the previous 24 hours (21 explosions),” reads the daily report of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine issued on 14 July 2020.

As noted, the majority of ceasefire violations were recorded at south-easterly and south-westerly directions of the Donetsk Filtration Station (DFS) (15km north of Donetsk) and at south-easterly and south-westerly directions of Svitlodarsk (government-controlled, 57km north-east of Donetsk).

“In Luhansk region, the Mission recorded a similar number of ceasefire violations, including , however, fewer explosions (18), compared with the previous 24 hours (about 210 explosions),” the report says.

The majority of ceasefire violations in Luhansk region were recorded in areas south-east of Popasna (government-controlled, 69km west of Luhansk).
