National Agency on Corruption Prevention checks Zelensky's declaration amid trip to Oman.

Press Service of the President of Ukraine

The National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) has begun reviewing President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky's declaration due to his trip to Oman. Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Honcharenko reported about it and posted a copy of the agency's response to his request on Facebook.

"NAPC has begun checking why Zelensky had not indicated the expenses for the trip to Oman. Earlier, Bohdan (former Head of the President’s Office – ed.) said that the trip had been unofficial and that it had not been a state visit. But, according to the President’s declaration, the vacation did not affect his financial status at all. Well, we will wait for news," Honcharenko wrote.

As we reported earlier, on January 5, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky was in Oman, where he went with his family on a regular flight at his own expense.

However, on the same day, he held a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah.

Some Ukrainian media resources reported that the Head of Ukrainian state had also met with Russian Secretary of Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, Zelensky's press secretary Yulia Mendel disproved this information.
