Defenders of Zolote come under grenade launcher fire.

As of 12:00 on June 18, Russian-occupation forces opened fire on the defenders of Zolote (60km west of Luhansk). No casualties have been reported.

"Today, as of 12:00, one case of ceasefire violation was recorded. Near Zolote, the enemy opened fire from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers. No combat losses among service members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been reported," Ukraine’s Defense Ministry Spokesperson Maria Salnik announced during a briefing.

As noted, the Ukrainian side of the Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) informed the OSCE SMM about the violations committed by the occupiers through the established coordination mechanism.

Ukrainian military continue to control the situation in the JFO area and adhere to the ceasefire.

As reported, nine ceasefire violations by the Russian-occupation troops were recorded in the Joint Forces Operation area in eastern Ukraine over the past day, June 17. One Ukrainian soldier received a bullet wound in the shelling.
