Invaders destroyed almost 1,500 private houses in Irpin - mayor.
Expert commissions have already examined almost 95% of Irpin's infrastructure facilities damaged by Russian invaders.
Irpin Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn said in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
According to the mayor, the findings of the experts are the following: a total of 3,247 residential buildings were damaged; 1,130 private houses need current repairs; 1,483 private houses were completely destroyed; 515 apartment buildings require current repairs; 39 apartment buildings are dangerous and subject to dismantling or additional inspection; 80 apartment buildings need major repairs.
Markushyn noted that Irpin authorities are working on attracting funds to conduct repairs and reconstruction of damaged buildings, expecting the support from the region, the state, and international partners.
The mayor also stressed that as a result of hostilities in Irpin, almost all kindergartens and schools had been destroyed, noting that the average cost of reconstruction of one of which is EUR 1 million.
