Chilling note saying ‘he killed my wife’ scrawled on wall by ‘stalker’ doorman ‘who slaughtered doctor couple’.

CHILLING new images have emerged of the haunting messages written on the walls of a crime scene where two Boston doctors were found stabbed to death.

The newly-released photographs show the words "he killed my wife" written on the wall of the apartment belonging to Lina Bolanos, 38, and Richard Field, 49.

The couple were found in pools of blood and with multiple stab wounds in May 2017.

Bolanos and Field's former doorman at the couple's Macallen Building apartment complex, Bampumim Teixeira, 32, is on trial for first-degree murder, and jurors could begin deliberations this week.

The court heard how, elsewhere in the apartment, Field's face was crossed out in several family photos and "Payback" was found written on the walls.

When he was taken into custody at the scene, Teixeira said, "They killed my wife," Sean Wallace, a Boston police detective, testified at the trial last week.

Wallace also said that Teixeira had told Boston cops, "You guys are going to die."

Bolanos and British citizen Field - both respected anesthesiologists – were engaged to be married before they were bound and stabbed to death at their 11th floor penthouse home.

Despite what was written on the walls of the couple's apartment, it is unclear whether Teixeira, a native of West Africa and a US Green Card holder, has ever been married.

The defendant has previously been convicted of bank robberies, according to reports, but avoided deportation due to plea deals with prosecutors in the Massachusetts.

NOT-GUILTY PLEA

Prosecutors say Teixeria - who has pleaded not guilty - lurked around the building before sneaking into the doctors' 11th floor penthouse to kill them.

Assistant District Attorney John Pappas said: "Although the why to this story may never be fully explained to your satisfaction, the who will absolutely never be in doubt."

The defense claims there's not enough proof.

Defense attorney Steven Sack said: "No video, no audio, no scientific evidence, no credible evidence will tell you that Bampumim Teixeira broke into the home of Lina Bolanos and Richard Field and murdered them.

"And that's because he didn't."

According to prosecutors, a person wearing a bright yellow shirt and carrying a string-style backpack snuck into the apartment through the garage shortly before 4pm on May 5, 2017.

Bolanos then entered the building around 5pm, before Field arrived home around 6:30pm, security footage shows.

Last week, jurors heard how Bolanos called 911 in a desperate plea for help – though the operator hung up because she was unable to hear the muffled reply.

Between 7:06pm and 7:45pm, Field also made five 991 calls and sent panicked texts to a friend when the call did not go through.

DESPERATE TEXTS

The court heard the testimony of Field's friend, Matthias Heidenreich, in Suffolk County Superior Court on Friday, who spoke of the desperate text messages his friend had sent before he died.

The first text read, "Call 111," which Heidenreich, a scientist who works for Boston-based Vertex Pharmaceuticals, said he later understood to mean 911.

The next few lines read, "Gun man. In house. Pls. Nw. Eriou. Erious. Serious", before Heidenreich replied, "991?"

Heidenriech said he grew concerned when he did not hear back from his friend, so his girlfriend called the concierge desk at the building where Field and Belanos lived.

The concierge then called 991, the court heard, and Heidenreich and his girlfriend took an Uber to the building, only to discover police cars outside.

Minutes later, the couple heard gunshots, and later that night, Heidenreich was informed by police that Bolanos and Field had been killed.

According to prosecutors, Teixeira had taken the likes of knives, handcuffs, duct tape and pliers into the apartment.

When police arrived, the former doorman was wearing dark clothing and gloves, police said.

Officers believed Teixeira pointed a weapon at them, and two officers shot and wounded him, authorities said.

Outside the apartment, authorities added, police found a backpack with replica firearms and jewelry, as well as yellow shirt and a carving knife.
