Infant dead as Russian missiles destroy maternity ward in Zaporizhia region.

Russian invaders fired at the maternity ward of a Vilniansk Hospital, killing an infant overnight Wednesday, November 23.

This is reported by Ukrinform with reference to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Starukh.

"At night, the occupiers fired huge missiles at a small maternity ward of the Vilniansk hospital. Grief fills our hearts – a newborn baby was killed," the statement says.

Emergency and rescue teams are currently working at the site of the strike

The air raid alert went off in the region at 02:07. People were urged to immediately shelter. The strike was reported around 02:36.
