Share of occupied COVID-19 hospital beds exceeds 30% - Shmyhal.
The share of COVID-19 hospital beds occupied by patients with coronavirus across Ukraine stands at 33%.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this at a government meeting on January 26, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"The government continues to prepare our hospitals. Currently, 30% of beds for COVID-19 [patients] are occupied. Almost 100% of beds are equipped with oxygen supply," Shmyhal said.
He reminded that the state purchased about 15,000 oxygen concentrators. At the end of last year, Ukraine bought 355 autonomous stations for oxygen production.
As Ukrinform reported, 3,913,809 people in Ukraine have contracted coronavirus, 3,596,715 have recovered, and 99,584 have died since the pandemic began.
A total of 24,321 new coronavirus cases were detected in Ukraine on January 25.
