In January-June 2024, Naftogaz Group increased gas production volumes by 8% compared to the same period last year.
The relevant statement was made by Naftogaz Group’s press service, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Over six months of 2024, Naftogaz Group’s companies, such as Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC and Ukrnafta PJSC, have already produced 7.3 billion cubic meters of commercial-grade gas, which is 8% higher compared to the same period last year,” the report states.
According to Naftogaz Group Board Chairman & CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov, the gas production volumes exceeded the operating plan by almost 2%.
“We managed to achieve this result by launching 41 wells, which is one more than planned. Of these, 14 are high-rate wells producing more than 100 thousand cubic meters of gas daily,” Chernyshov noted.
Additionally, Naftogaz Group’s experts are constantly analyzing the old wells that can be brought back into operation with the new technical solutions.
A reminder that, in January-May 2024, Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC transferred UAH 9.85 billion in rent payments to the consolidated budget.
