Two adults and a child injured in Russia's missile strike on Odesa Region.
On May 16, 2022, Russian invaders launched a missile strike on Odesa Region. The missile fired from an enemy aircraft hit a tourist infrastructure facility not far from Odesa, leaving two adults and a child injured.
The relevant statement was made by the South Operational Command on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“In the morning of May 16, 2022, a child was injured in Russia’s missile strike on Odesa Region, which was launched with Russia’s strategic aviation. A tourist infrastructure facility was hit, buildings destroyed, and a fire broke out,” the report states.
Rescue and investigation teams are working at the scene.
According to the South Operational Command, the enemy continues to attack a damaged bridge over the Dniester Estuary but causes damage to civilians.
