War update: 142 combat clashes on front lines in past day.

As many as 142 combat engagements between Ukrainian forces and Russian invaders were recorded on the front lines on Sunday, June 30.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a situation update as of 08:00 on Monday, July 1, Ukrinform reports.

Over the past day, Russian forces launched three missile strikes (using four missiles), 59 airstrikes (using 89 guided aerial bombs), and almost 4,600 shelling attacks, including 94 attacks using multiple rocket launchers.

Airstrikes targeted Starytsia, Vovchansk, Huriv Kozachok, Lyptsi, Tokarivka Druha, Vesele, Neskuchne, Derhachi, and Slobozhanske of the Kharkiv region and Kharkiv; Serhiivka and Raihorodok in the Luhansk region; Serebrianske Forestry; Lyman, Yampil, Niu-York, Zalizne, Toretsk, Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Zhelanne, Ivanivka, and Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region; Burhunka, Kherson region; and Tamaryno, Mykolaiv region.

In the past 24 hours, Russian invaders lost 1,110 soldiers, 19 tanks, 26 armored fighting vehicles, 66 artillery systems, a multiple launch rocket system, an air defense system, 36 operational-tactical UAVs, two missiles, and 70 vehicles.

Over the past day, Ukrainian aircraft and missile and artillery forces hit two Russian command points, an ammunition depot, an air defense system and 16 enemy troop concentration areas.

In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy continued to conduct offensive operations, with 16 combat clashes recorded. Fighting took place near Lyptsi, Vovchansk, and Hlyboke.

In the Kupiansk sector, the number of attacks over the past 24 hours was ten. Ukrainian forces repelled Russian assaults near Synkivka and Pishchane in the Kharkiv region, and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region.

In the Lyman sector, 16 enemy attacks were repelled outside Nevske and Makiivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske in the Donetsk region.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled eight assaults near Spirne, Verkhniokamianske, and Vyimka in the Donetsk region.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian forces stopped ten attempts by the Russian army to break through Ukrainian defenses near Klishchiivka, Novyi and Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region.

In the Toretsk sector, the enemy launched seven attacks near Pivdenne, Pivnichne, and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk sector, 42 assaults were repelled near Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Yevhenivka, Prohres, Novoselivka Persha and Sokil in the Donetsk region, where the invaders, with the support of aircraft, tried to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from their positions.

In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian forces continued to hold back the enemy outside Nevelske, Heorhiivka, Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviivka, and Kostiantynivka. The Russian army tried to break through Ukrainian defenses there 17 times.

In the Vremivka sector, the Russians carried out 12 assaults on Ukrainian positions near Vodiane, Kostiantynivka, and Makarivka, Donetsk region.

In the Huliaipole sector, the enemy tried to advance near Charivne, Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Orikhiv sector, three combat clashes were recorded near Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne of the Zaporizhzhia region.

On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the Russians keep a military presence, carrying out sabotage and intelligence activities, shelling populated areas from their territory, and increasing the density of minefields along Ukraine's state border.
