Enemy shelling ongoing along entire front line in Donbas, Avdiyivka significantly affected.

In Ukraine’s Donetsk region, Russian invasion forces rain fire on Ukrainian settlements and defense positions along the entire front line. In Avdiyivka, at least 20 households and a school were damaged by Russian strikes.

This is stated in the consolidated report by Ukraine’s regional military and civil administrations, released May 23, according to Ukrinform.

In Donetsk region, the enemy is constantly shelling positions around the village of Vozdvyzhenka and the village of Myronivka (Svitlodarska Hromada), having destroyed the bridge near the village of Luhanske. A detailed report on the consequences of shelling and casualties is yet to follow.

In Bilozerka, Kherson region, as a result of enemy shelling, 10 households were partially destroyed, three people were killed, while the number of injured remains unclear. Russians continue to shell temporarily occupied settlements, destroying social infrastructure facilities and civilian households. The situation is critical in the villages of Oleksandrivka and Osokorivka. Almost every household there has been damaged. Casualties are reported. The situation is also difficult in the villages across Beryslav and Kakhovka districts.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, air-raid alarm was on throughout the night. Russian troops fired twice at the Apostoliv community using Uragan MLR systems, hitting the area in between the two settlements. No casualties were reported.

In Korosten, Zhytomyr region, three households were damaged by the wreckage of a downed enemy missile overnight Monday. As a result of another missile strike, an industrial facility was damaged. There are no reports on casualties as of now.

In Sumy region, the enemy fired on the outskirts of Bilopillya. Information about the victims, losses, and destruction are being clarified.

In Kharkiv, the night saw air-raid alarms and isolated shelling. Two people were injured. The Russians fired on the settlement of Tsyrkuny, Kharkiv region, where two persons were injured. The enemy also fired on Pervomaisky, injuring one. In addition, there was a person injured in Balaklia. At night, Russian troops fired on the Chuhuiv district, burning down households, shops, and cafes. No one was injured.

In Luhansk region, the Russians again tried to storm Sievierodonetsk but later retreated, having achieved no gains. A total of 19 settlements were shelled. 70 households were damaged or destroyed: in Lysychansk, Novodruzhesk, Zoloty, Nyrkiv, Mykolayivka, Katerynivka, Horske, and Sievierodonetsk. One person was killed. A girl from Pryvillia died in a hospital in Dnipro on May 7. Two civilians were injured.

Overnight Monday, aggressors fired at Mykolaiv using MLR systems. Information on damaged objects and casualties is being clarified. The enemy also fired on the Shirokiv community, again. No one was injured.

At the same time, the night passed relatively calmly in Volyn, Zakarpattia, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Odesa, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhia, Ternopil, Lviv, Khmelnytsky, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Poltava regions.
