In Luhansk region, invaders shut all mines in Khrustalnyi.

In Khrustalnyi, the settlement in Luhansk region captured by Russian forces, the invaders closed all local mines.

That’s according to the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.

"Throughout the years of occupation, Khrustalnyi turned from a well-known mining town into a ghost with a zero industry - all mines in the settlement have been mothballed," the report says.

As in a number of other towns, the invaders have been ignoring local workforce as Russian construction crews were deployed to siphon “budget funds.”

The officials note that at the end of the rain season, Moscow-based companies completely dismantled the roofs of many high-rise apartment blocks and withdrew from the area. For more than a month and a half, the apartment blocks have been suffering from precipitation leaking through the exposed floors.

"Due to the high humidity in the apartments, inside temperature in people’s homes does not rise above 15 degrees Celsius. Also, fungus has accumulated on the walls. That’s given the fact that there are no hostilities ongoing in town," the report said.

In addition, according to the information of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the so-called leadership of the "Republic" is looking into downgrading some towns to the level of settlements.

The invaders plan to cancel or reduce staff at local administrations and municipal enterprises, promising an even more limited budget, cutting the network of hospitals, schools, and kindergartens.

In Novopskov, on January 15, as the enemy employed their S-300 missile system, one of the missiles hit a residential building where two civilians were killed.

Meanwhile, in the territory of Russia, foreign citizens who are in line to receive citizenship are offered to voluntarily enlist in the army ranks and automatically obtain a passport.

Also, in Moscow, pressure is being exerted on businesses to financially support the Russian army by donating RUB 10 million or more.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, in the temporarily occupied Alchevsk, Luhansk region, Russian invaders launched yet another wave of military draft.
