Zelensky approves composition of Ukraine’s delegation to UNGA.

President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine has approved the composition of Ukraine’s delegation set to participate in the 77th session of the UN General Assembly.

It will be headed by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, says Order No.187/2022-rp, which was posted on the presidential website, reports Ukrinform.

Ukraine’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Sergiy Kyslytsya has been appointed the delegation’s deputy chief.

Also on the team is first Deputy Foreign Minister Emine Dzheppar, Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Oleksandr Merezhko, Head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov, Head of the Main Directorate for Foreign Policy at the Foreign Policy and Strategic Partnership Department of the President’s Office Yuriy Vitrenko, Director of MFA Ukraine’s International Organizations Department Valentyn Skuratovsky, and Permanent Presidential Representative for Crimea Tamila Tasheva.

Zelensky also approved the directives issued to the delegation, while their content will remain classified and not be subject to publication.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the UN General Assembly allowed President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine to address its 77th session during the High Level Week via video conference.

The president will speak in the afternoon on September 21.

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba will make a working visit to the United States on September 19-23 to participate in the general debate of the UNGA’s 77th session.
