Enemy forces use phosphorus bombs to shell Sumy region.

Russian forces fired proscribed phosphorus bombs at the Yunakivka community in the Sumy region from Grad multiple launch rocket systems.

Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

He posted a video from a village in the Yunakivka community, which came under Grad fire.

"While shelling the Yunakivka community, the Russians used phosphorus bombs. Phosphorus munitions are forbidden during the war!" he said.

According to Zhyvytskyi, information on casualties and destruction is currently being clarified.
