Security Service of Ukraine: Motor Sich paid taxes to ‘DPR’.

The Security Service of Ukraine charges Vyacheslav Bohuslayev, president of Motor Sich JSC, with paying taxes to the terrorist organization "Donetsk People’s Republic".

“In the course of investigative and operational actions, it was established that after the start of the full-scale invasion, the high-ranking official financed the terrorist organization ‘DPR’ by paying ‘taxes’ and ‘fees’,” the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine informs.

Among other things, he cooperated with a Ukrainian enterprise, which has been controlled by the so-called “DPR” since 2014. Its purpose was to supply aircraft components to enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation.

It was established that the "budget" of the terrorist organization "DPR" received more than RUB 290 million in the form of "taxes" from the sale of aircraft products for the needs of Russians.

The leaders of the occupation administration of Donetsk used the received money to finance the needs of Russian military groups participating in hostilities against the Defense Forces of Ukraine on the eastern front.

Based on this evidence, the investigators of the Main Investigative Department of the Security Service of Ukraine served the head of the industrial giant with a new notice of charges under Art. 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (facilitating the activities of a terrorist organization).

In addition, during new searches, law enforcement officers found more than two dozen medals, certificates, and honorary awards given to the president of Motor Sich JSC by representatives of the military and political leadership of the Russian Federation.

A pre-trial investigation is underway to establish all the circumstances of the crimes and hold the perpetrators to account.

As reported, on October 23, 2022, the Security Service of Ukraine detained President of Motor Sich JSC Vyacheslav Bohuslayev and the head of the department of foreign economic activities of the company on charges of collaborationism and aiding and abetting the aggressor state.

They were detained within the framework of investigation into the Motor Sich’s illegal supply of military goods for the Russian attack aircraft. According to the investigation data, the officials established transnational channels for the illegal supply of wholesale batches of aircraft engines to the aggressor state. The invaders used the obtained products for the production and repair of attack helicopters.

The suspects are held in custody.
