Russian subversive group exposed while attempting to cross into Sumy region.

Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group tried to cross the border in Sumy region from the Russian territory.

That’s according to the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Dmytro Zhivytskyi, who reported the news on Telegram, as seen by Ukrinform.

"The Russian subversive group once again tried to cross into Sumy region. Yesterday, around 5:00 in the morning, a six-strong group attempted to cross in from the territory of the Russian Federation to the Yunakove community," he wrote.

Zhyvytskyi added that the enemy fled after the Ukrainian military opened fire.

As reported by Ukrinform, on January 20, throughout the day, the Russians shelled two border communities in Sumy region a total of 27 times.
