Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze said this to journalists on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"At the July summit, we primarily hope that the open-door policy for Ukraine will be confirmed and the decision of the Bucharest Summit 2008 regarding the NATO membership for Ukraine and Georgia will be confirmed. We also expect to join MAP next year. We also wait for the invitation to the NATO Enhanced Opportunities Partnership," Klympush-Tsintsadze said.
She added that Ukraine should avoid the situation when some countries would try to offer membership in this program instead of the MAP.
"These are two different things, two different steps of similar processes, therefore it is important to get it [an invitation to Enhanced Opportunities Partnership] but not as a substitute for the MAP," the Vice Prime Minister emphasized.
