Bus crash sees it DANGLING off NY overpass injuring eight.

A BRONX bus was seen dangling off of a New York overpass after a driver reportedly lost control, crashed, and injured eight people.

The articulated bus crashed just after 11pm on Thursday night at the interchange between the Cross Bronx and Major Deegan expressways.

One part of the tandem bus still resting on the bridge, with the other half dangling nearly completely vertical, with its smashed front end resting on the highway ramp below.

One person was serious injured in the crash, the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) told NBC in a statement.

A New York Police Department (NYPD) spokesperson told the outlet that the driver was "unable to navigate the roadway," leading to the crash.

Seven other passengers suffered minor to non-life-threatening injuries.

The passengers and the driver were taken to hospitals for treatment.

"The bus fell approximately 50 feet onto the access road," Deputy Fire Chief Paul Hopper said in a social media post.

"The patients suffered injuries consistent with a fall from such a great height."

Firefighters will secure the fuel and any other hazardous materials before pulling the bus fully onto the road, Acting Battalion Chief Steven Moore said in the post.
