Hundreds Gather in Gaza for Brothers' Funeral

Hundreds of mourners gathered in the central Gaza Strip, Sunday, September 27, for the funeral of two brothers shot Friday by Egyptian naval forces.

People gathered and offered condolences to Mohammed al-Zazou, who mourned the loss of his two sons.

The bodies of the two Palestinian fishermen killed by Egyptian naval forces in the Mediterranean were returned to the Gaza Strip Saturday, the Gaza Interior Ministry has said.

The shooting occurred Friday, as three fishermen were fishing near the Gaza-Egypt maritime frontier, said the Palestinian fishermen union, noting the three were brothers.
