Pope Francis Meets With NBA Players to Discuss Social Justice.
Five players from the NBA met with Pope Francis at the Vatican, Monday, November 23, to discuss social justice issues.
Marco Belinelli, Sterling Brown, Jonathan Isaac, Kyle Korver and Anthony Tolliver joined NBA players’ union executives at the meeting.
The players spoke about their efforts in addressing social and economic issues in their communities, according to the union.
The meeting came days before Pope Francis is set to release a book that covers issues of social justice around the world. (AP)
