Russia says it will try to recover a US Reaper drone that crashed into the Black Sea after it was allegedly clipped by a Russian fighter jet.
The US accused the Russian pilot of unprofessionalism in an episode that highlights the risk of escalation between two nuclear powers.
A Ukrainian official said the incident also showed Russia’s willingness to expand the conflict.
