An Australian farmer paid his respects to his departed aunt by arranging his sheep in the shape of a heart in early August.
Ben Jackson couldn’t attend his aunt’s funeral because of pandemic restrictions, so he used the sheep display as an alternative.
Jackson started experimenting with making shapes with sheep as an antidote to the monotonous stress of hand-feeding livestock.
He discovered that if he dropped grain in patterns, the sheep would adopt the same shape for several minutes. (AP)
