Virginia Teacher Refuses To Comply With Proposed Pronoun Policy.
Byron "Tanner" Cross, a Virginia physical education teacher, was placed on leave after saying he will not comply with a proposed school policy to refer to students by their preferred pronouns. During a school board meeting, Cross called the policy "abuse to a child."
