Additional Patriot and SAMP-T are urgently needed to protect against Russian shelling - Kuleba.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba emphasized the importance of providing Ukraine with air defense systems to protect against Russian attacks.

This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In an interview with the Italian TV channel TG1, Kuleba emphasized the need for additional air defense systems to be supplied as soon as possible.

"The message is simple: the world cannot simply watch Ukrainians being killed by Russian missiles and drones. Ukraine urgently needs additional Patriot and SAMP/T air defense systems to protect against Russian terror," the minister explained.

According to Kuleba, it is these air defense systems that are a priority, since only they are capable of shooting down Russian ballistic missiles.

"The Group of Seven" are those countries that have the opportunity to provide Ukraine with more air defense systems without delay, and we are making every effort to make decisions as soon as possible," the Foreign Minister emphasized.

In this context, Kuleba cited the example of Germany, which has already decided to provide an additional battery to the Patriot and called on other countries to follow its example.

"We have seen since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation that the countries of the Group of Seven are capable of making really powerful and extraordinary decisions. We are deeply grateful to them for what they have already done for us. But the longer the war lasts, the more bold decisions are needed. I am convinced that the Group of Seven is capable of adopting them," the minister concluded.
