White House calls Russian officials manure sellers due to disinformation about Ukraine’s involvement in terrorist attack in Moscow region.
White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby compared Russian officials to manure salesmen for spreading propaganda and disinformation about Ukraine’s involvement in the terrorist attack in the Moscow region.

"Representatives of the Russian government [...] are trying to shift the blame to Ukraine, the United States and others in accordance with political narratives. It is obvious that ISIS alone is to blame for the horrific terrorist attack last week," Kirby said.
The White House national security communications adviser stressed that the statements by Russian officials reminded him of his uncle's remarks about manure salesmen: "We had a small farm where we raised cattle near Ocala in Florida. My uncle used to say that the best manure salesmen often carried samples of manure in their mouths. Russian officials seem to have good manure."
Kirby emphasised that the United States tried to prevent the attack and provided details of a potential terrorist attack to Russian authorities in advance. He stressed that the United States was obliged to share available information about the planned terrorist attack. The US also issued a recommendation for American citizens to avoid large gatherings and concerts in Moscow.
