Zelenskyy specifies comprehensive package of solutions to overcome energy crisis.

In the near future, Ukrainian government authorities will submit to public modifications to legislation as well as new loan programmes to help overcome the electricity shortfall in Ukraine.

Details: The Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of Ukraine was held on 5 July, attended by officials and representatives from various governmental authorities. The event addressed a variety of critical problems aimed at assisting residents, local communities, and Ukrainian businesses in the midst of catastrophic power outages.

Quote: "Amendments to the legislation were previously drafted and will be voted on. There was a government decision. There are new lending programmes available, including interest-free loans for individuals and affordable and dependable loans for businesses. All of this should function as soon as possible," Zelenskyy said.

Ukrainian officials are also actively working with European partners to boost the amount of electricity imported. In the meantime, efforts to restore energy infrastructure continue.

Each government official will be personally responsible for implementing a full package of energy solutions. In addition, other community needs will be addressed to guarantee successful local support.
