How to make a fluffy and tall cottage cheese casserole without flour and sugar: we share the secret of a successful dough.
Cottage cheese is a very healthy product that contains a lot of vitamins and essential trace elements. At the same time, it is an ideal product for making cheesecakes, casseroles, pancakes, pies, dumplings, homemade hard cheese, and delicious spreads.
Cook Anastasiia shared a recipe for a delicious cottage cheese casserole without flour and sugar on Instagram, which is light and fluffy.
Tip: add poppy seeds soaked in milk to the dough!
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese – 800 g
- eggs – 3-4 pcs.
- semolina – 3-4 tbsp.
- milk – 50-70 ml
- vanilla – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Pour the semolina with milk and leave to swell for 10-15 minutes.
2. Beat the cottage cheese with an immersion blender, add the eggs and vanilla.
3. Whisk the egg whites to peaks, add to the batter, and mix very gently, add the semolina. Stir and add the dried fruit.
4. Put the dough into the mold and bake for 40 minutes at 180 C.
Important: Do not take the casserole out of the baking dish immediately, let it cool.
