Media: Fire in Crimea near Cape Chauda, from where Russians launch drones.

In the temporarily occupied Crimea near Cape Chauda, smoke was recorded.

Krym.Realii reports it, according to Ukrinform.

"From the Tavrida highway, a massive fire is visible from afar in the area of Cape Chauda, where the military training ground is located and where the Shahed drones are launched," the report says.

According to the publication, several Russian military facilities are located near Cape Chauda, including a training ground. In the late 1980s, it was closed, but in 2016, the Russian Federation resumed its work again.

Since August 2022, explosions have been heard almost daily in Crimea and Sevastopol. The Russian authorities explain this by shooting at "Ukrainian drones," "air defense operations," or Russian military exercises.
