State Property Fund holds 10 privatization auctions worth more than UAH 250M.
The Ukrainian State Property Fund has held 10 privatization auctions over the past week, totaling UAH 251.2 million.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Property Fund, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Between March 13, 2023 and March 17, 2023, the Ukrainian State Property Fund held 10 privatization auctions, involving 35 entrepreneurs. The total amount of winning bids came to UAH 251.2 million,” the report states.
The total starting price increased by 2.5 times.
According to the Ukrainian State Property Fund, the key auction has been the sale of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Sea Commercial Port. The winning bid reached UAH 220 million, which is 2.3 times higher than the starting price.
Bar Alcohol Plant was also sold at a significantly higher price. During bidding, the value of the asset increased by 4.7 times and reached UAH 21.3 million.
Additionally, private investors offered from UAH 2 million to UAH 3 million for three more assets, such as the real estate complex in the Kirovohrad region’s Novoukrainka (UAH 3 million); the Druzhba industrial minerals quarry ‘Kvarts’ in the Zhytomyr region (UAH 2.8 million; and Sivershchyna Trading House in the city of Chernihiv (UAH 2 million).
A total of 20 privatization auctions have been scheduled for next week.
