Lomachenko came to a meeting with Ukrainians in Australia wearing a T-shirt with a peace dove.

Former world champion in three weight categories Vasyl Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs) continues to prepare for his fight against George Kambosos (21-2, 10 KOs). The boxer from Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi held an open training session and met with representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora in Australia.

The relevant photos were published on the NunanBoy Promotions page on Instagram. The photos show that many Ukrainians came to support Lomachenko in Perth. They came to the meeting with the former champion wearing national symbols, and some of them were wearing embroidered shirts.

After working in the ring, the boxer himself put on a T-shirt with a picture of a white dove, a symbol of peace, which he posted immediately after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. It should be reminded that during these two years, Lomachenko has called Russia the aggressor.

As a reminder, the Lomachenko-Kambosos fight will take place on May 12. Last week it became known that Ukraine refused to broadcast the fight. Fans were told where to watch the fight in this case.

Earlier, Cambosos shared his expectations of the fight with Lomachenko, promising to knock the Ukrainian's head off. Vasyl and George were supposed to fight in the summer of 2022, but the Ukrainian refused because Russia attacked Ukraine. At the same time, the Australian recently got into a scandal by inviting a boxer from Russia who supports the war to his camp to prepare for the fight.

After it became known about the fight between Vasyl and George, the Ukrainian was excluded from several world rankings.
