Without boiling and milk: how to make homemade hard cheese in the microwave.

If you love homemade hard cheese , but don't like to cook it and spend a lot of time at the stove, there is an alternative. The product can be prepared without any hassle, and all you need is a microwave.

Confectioner and cook Liliia Tsvit shared a recipe for homemade hard cheese that can be cooked in the microwave on her YouTube channel (to watch the video, scroll to the end) .

Ingredients for 1200 g of hard cheese:

  • cottage cheese – 2400 g
  • eggs – 2 pcs.
  • salt – 2 tsp.
  • baking soda – 2 tsp.
  • oil – 2 tbsp.
  • spices

Method of preparation:

1. Heat the cottage cheese in the microwave for 3 minutes. Then mix thoroughly. Heat the cottage cheese in this way 2-3 more times.

2. Then drain the cottage cheese on cheesecloth. Wait for the excess liquid to drain off.

3. Add salt, baking soda, and egg to the cottage cheese. Beat with a blender. Also, add oil.

4. Put the cottage cheese back in the microwave for 3 minutes. Then mix thoroughly. Repeat the procedure until the mass begins to stick together and becomes viscous. Add your favorite spices if desired.

5. Put the resulting mass into containers and tamp. Let it cool down.
