Denmark allocates €34 million for humanitarian aid for Ukraine.
Denmark’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced a new humanitarian aid package worth 250 million Danish kroner (€33.5 million) to help meet the needs of the Ukrainians most affected by the war.

Details: The package provides basic emergency aid – food, medicine, water and shelter – for Ukrainians in the hardest-hit areas, especially children and women.
Funds will also be spent on insulating Ukrainian households ahead of next winter and on humanitarian mine action.
Much of the funding – DKK 100 million – will be distributed through "Danish civil society partners who have been present in Ukraine since the beginning of the war", and the rest will be channelled via specialist UN institutions.
"With this new support package, we aim to ensure urgent and life-saving humanitarian aid and protection for the most vulnerable groups," said Dan Jørgensen, Denmark’s Minister for Development Cooperation and Global Climate Policy.
Last month Denmark agreed to increase its contribution to the Ukraine Fund – a mechanism for long-term military support for Ukraine – by a further DKK 4.4 billion (€590 million) in 2024.
