UN reacts to Russia’s missile attack on Dnipro and region: There are no peaceful mornings in Ukraine.

Denise Brown, Humanitarian Coordinator in Ukraine, strongly condemned the Russian Federation’s strikes on Dnipro and other cities in the region.

According to Censor.NET, this is stated in Brown's statement on the UN website.

"I strongly condemn the strikes by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation that hit Dnipro and other cities in the Dnipro region in eastern Ukraine today, bringing new suffering to the people of Ukraine.

This morning's strikes damaged homes and killed and injured dozens of people. This comes just two days after the devastating strikes on Chernihiv in the north of the country. Once again, children are reported to be among the dead," the statement said.

It is also reported that humanitarian workers are already providing assistance to the injured people at the site of the attacks in Dnipro.

"These attacks are yet another example of the utter disregard for human life that deserves the utmost condemnation. Civilians and civilian infrastructure are protected under international humanitarian law," Brown added.
