Man kicks teen girl in the face in Birmingham bus mask row.

COPS are hunting this man after a teenage girl was kicked in the face in a row over wearing a mask on a Birmingham bus.

It comes after a video showed a man and his partner arguing with the youngster over her lack of face covering, before striking out at her as they left the vehicle.

Releasing a picture, a West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We want to speak with him urgently after a teenager was racially abused and attacked on a bus in Hill Top, West Bromwich last week.

"An argument broke out on the 79 bus in Moxley at around 5.40pm on 1 October, before a fellow passenger racially abused the 16-year-old and kicked her."

"We take racially aggravated crimes extremely seriously, and our enquiries continue."

A man was filmed shouting at the youngster on Thursday: "All I’m saying is put your mask on!

"I’m not being racist but the virus is more common in Black and Asians. Put your f***ing mask on.”

The teenage girl tries to argue her case, before the middle-aged woman shouts: "Why do I have to come on the bus and put up with you sitting next to us with no mask on."
