The former conservative Attorney General, Dominic Grieve KC, says that the Standards Committee is "quite capable" of ruling impartially on Boris Johnson's statements made during the pandemic.
Mr Grieve says that the photographs of the "gatherings" that Mr Johnson attended will speak for themselves in front of the cross-party group of MPs.
He said that the conservative party appeared to be "delusional" about Johnson if they continue to support him if he is found to have mislead parliament.
