Russian army attacks several Ukrainian defense industrial facilities.

On Sunday, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Russian forces had struck a number of Ukrainian defense industrial facilities while the Ukrainian military claimed that they forced Russian forces to retreat in Kharkiv and other directions.

Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said the Russian aerospace forces used high-precision weapons to strike the workshop of Madasic Company in the city of Zaporizhzhia, where Ukrainian air force helicopters were being repaired.

An oil storage depot in Dnipropetrovsk that supplies Ukrainian forces in Donbass with fuel was hit, while Russian forces also used high-precision weapons to strike a Ukrainian reserve training center in Sloviansk.

Additionally, Russian air defense forces intercepted shells fired by multiple rocket launcher systems in Donetsk and other places, and shot down a number of Ukrainian drones.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian armed forces said on Sunday that the Ukrainian army forced the withdrawal of Russian troops in the direction of Kharkiv, Slaviansk and Avdiivka, which suffered losses in the directions of Kharkiv and Avdiivka. The Ukrainian army also repelled several Russian attacks in the direction of Bakmut.

Russia announced on Sunday that Ukraine had shelled the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant twice in the past 24 hours, firing a total of nine shells.
