Live: Germany car attack - Man smashed car into pedestrians in Trier aftermath.
A CHILD and three others have reportedly been killed and at least 15 injured after a car rampage left a "trail of destruction" through a German city centre.
Witnesses told how they saw families and a pram "flying through the air" as a Range Rover ploughed through a pedestrian zone in Trier.
Other victims were mowed down in front of terrified children who were out Christmas shopping with their parents.
The driver left a trail of carnage in his wake as schools in the city centre were placed in lockdown and children told to stay inside the buildings.
Four people, including a child, have been killed, Trierischer Volksfreund reports, and the newspaper estimates up to 30 people have been injured.
Footage from the scene showed people outside a shop apparently helping someone on the ground lying among scattered debris.
