From next week a driver could be fined up to £1,000 if they don't give a 1.5 metre distance when passing a cyclist on a road, perform a dutch reach when opening a car door or if they turn and don't give way to pedestrians crossing before entering the road.
Sky's Katie Barnfield reports.
