Bolivia released an Andean condor into the wild, Jan. 25, 2022.
The animal, estimated to be 5 years old, was found weak, malnourished, and unable to fly in November of last year in the municipality of Huancapampa, close to Bolivia's capital, La Paz.
Veterinarians at the Vesty Pakos Biopark helped the condor to recover and later released him into his natural habitat.
Authorities equipped the condor with a GPS device to track his movements in the future.
