Watch live: Senate holds hearing examining January 6 Capitol assault.

Set a reminder to watch live on March 3 at 10 a.m. ET: Two Senate committees are holding a joint hearing to examine the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Testimony is expected from acting Under Secretary of Homeland Security for Intelligence and Analysis Melissa Smislova; FBI Counterterrorism Division Assistant Director Jill Sanborn; and Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense and Global Security Robert Salesses.

The hearing comes a day after FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before the Senate Judiciary committee for the first time since the Capitol riot.
