Nearly 900 arrests in Sri Lanka as protests continue.

Nearly 900 arrests have been made in Sri Lanka so far during its economic and political crisis. These figures have been confirmed alongside news that the country on its last day of petrol, the country’s new prime minister has warned.

The shortages fuel shortages also come with the possibility of power outages lasting 15 hours a day.

Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has warned that the next couple of months “will be the most difficult ones of our lives.”
