Ukraine marks Rescuer's Day

Today, on Sept. 17, Ukraine marks Rescuer's Day, honoring all emergency workers, including firefighters, rescue and search specialists, sappers, and all those who save lives every day, often putting their own lives at risk.

According to Andriy Danik, head of the State Emergency Service, since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, 93 Ukrainian rescuers have been killed and more than 400 injured.
