A LAD was rushed to hospital after launching himself off Durdle Door - a sheer 200ft drop into the sea below.
Emergency services scrambled to the scene after the diver plunged into the water and dislocated his shoulder at the beauty spot in Dorset on Wednesday.
He was flown to Dorset County Hospital after jumping from the top of the cliff, with thousands of beachgoers watching in horror.
In the footage, people can be heard whooping and cheering before screaming “oh my God” when the jumper failed to immediately resurface.
The air ambulance could then be seen trying to land on the busy beach, with dozens of families and children watching on.
Coastguard officials then escorted the lad, wearing blue swimming shorts, to the helicopter after putting a bandage around his shoulder.
Witness Khawar Khawaja spotted the man when he got to the top of the cliff, describing the incident as “very scary”.
The 38-year-old had driven from Grimsby for a family day out when they witnessed the horrifying incident as temperatures spiked.
