Business Secretary: 4,200 coronavirus loans granted out of 300,000.

Business Secretary Alok Sharma admitted only 4,200 applications have been granted despite a backlog of 300,000 applications for the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme.

He said he is working with lenders as quickly as possible to deliver funding to businesses hit by the #coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking to Sky's Sophy Ridge, he highlighted partnerships with businesses like Burberry and Rolls-Royce to manufacture greater quantities of personal protective equipment.
