Iran nuclear deal revival possible if US «shows flexibility» says Iranian Foreign Minister.

The latest round of nuclear talks in Vienna has made "relative progress", but it still does not fully meet Iran's demands, said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani on Monday.

The latest round of nuclear talks was held in Austria's capital Vienna in early August after a five-month hiatus. On August 8, the European Union (EU) put forward a "final text" of the draft decision on reviving the nuclear deal, awaiting political decisions from participants of the Vienna talks.

"So far some of Iran's demands have been met. We believe that as long as [the U.S.] respects the red lines that Iran has set and basic interests of Iran in the nuclear talks are provided, if all the conditions are met, a final agreement can be reached in the near future," said Kanaani.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Monday that Iran would present its final summary on the Vienna talks to the European Union coordinator by Monday midnight. An agreement on reviving the 2015 nuclear deal is possible in the coming days if the U.S. shows flexibility in providing guarantees on Iran's demands, the minister said.

"If the Americans show flexibility realistically, we will reach an agreement in the coming days. But if the U.S. doesn't do that then nothing will happen," said Amir-Abdollahian.
