World Cup: Football takes backseat during England opener.

Headlines have been made on and off the pitch during the England opener in Qatar.

The match was a convincing success for England, as they beat Iran 6-2.

But the football was not enough to dampen controversy surrounding the tournament, or signs of political tensions, as the Iranian team refused to sing their national anthem.
